Back now from a great trip Skiing in Morzine, France & good to be in one piece although Dorina whom some would say was far more deserving of a break (holiday kind) than me almost had a real break after an innocuous fall. Thankfully she was able to Ski on after an afternoon off but has a whopper of a bruise & an accompanying limp to go with it. Meals might take a little longer

A very quick but very much needed thank you to Banda Bacana for a great night yesterday at the Cafe. We were full, dancing from start to finish, our only concern was almost being drunk dry after not anticipating simply how many people would come along, think we just about kept everyone happy. With Skiing & a week of no running just around the corner it was great to get out yesterday afternoon in perfect conditions for a run to Bethesda & back clocking up 22 miles in what was for me at least a very respectable time. With the disappointment of Saturday’s race now behind me (& seen in a better context) it has felt good to get a couple of training runs under my belt including Betws & back as well as Moel Siabod (with a surprising amount of snow still lying on the ground). What was better still was that when I got down from Siabod, just in time to meet Arwel Lewis & Steve Brace (more of that later),
