Deja-vu hit my running as my enjoyment of the Aran race spurred me on to up my training mileage, this last happened after the Snowdon marathon last October. Even the storm force winds of both Saturday & Sunday morning didn’t get in the way as my patience was rewarded by improved afternoons where I could get out without being accused of being totally annul. Have just watched a great video of the Pipe Dream race which can be downloaded by going onto the WFRA web-site, great work Craig, the heavy breathing is excused!! The bug which forced my withdrawal from the Wrexham marathon two weeks ago was a nasty little piece of work as it morphed from initial Fever to Stomach Cramps (&….) & then finally chronic headaches over the 7 days it lingered. I am feeling deflated! Knowing that my new Salomon road shoes would not be delivered prior to yesterday’s Wrexham Marathon things were still otherwise on track after calling in at Coed y Brenin on Friday & buying a new & very light Salomon S Lab pack, 3 litres capacity plus one litre of fluid & a very snug fit.
