We are an experienced Team having won multi-national awards at our previous Cafe in Capel Curig. We try to accommodate all our Customers’ needs be they linked to The Great Outdoors or simply a wish to enjoy good food & drinks in a friendly atmosphere.
Hi, we are Gaby, Paul & Dorina & together in early 2012 we set up The Moel Siabod Cafe in Capel Curig, Snowdonia.
Gaby was a qualified Chef, Dorina had been Front of House Manager in a local Hotel & Paul had run his own successful Construction Company. Basically, with this mixed skill-set we felt we had a chance of making a business in Hospitality work — but this said it was a daunting endeavour that faced us.
Now here we are more than 14 years on feeling immensely proud of our achievements.
Our Cafe in Capel won multiple awards including ‘Best Outdoor Cafe in the U.K.’ for three consecutive years. It became a hub for the Outdoor community & many others too & it was particularly pleasing to become part of so many people’s lives.

In 2015 we were, like all in the Outdoor World & beyond, devastated by the massive earthquake which hit Nepal.
After the initial shock & with the help of many we set up Reach Out for Nepal (ROFN) to raise funds for the rebuilding projects of Doug Scott’s established charity Community Action Nepal (CAN).
To date, through Paul’s annual charity runs (here thanks go to all his many support runners) & other fund raising activities of many friends, we have now raised over £120,000 — so here a small note of thanks to all who have supported ROFN.
