We are looking forward to Banda Bacana performing at the Cafe this evening, there has been a lot of interest & yes Children can come along too.

With Skiing & a week of no running just around the corner it was great to get out yesterday afternoon in perfect conditions for a run to Bethesda & back clocking up 22 miles in what was for me at least a very respectable time. Pace may have been a bit hard as I did struggle, to say the least, on the last 5 miles back from Tryfan but good to have the miles in the bag ahead of the Wrexham Marathon in 2 weeks time.

I can’t leave for Morzine without trying to burst some of Kean’s bubble after his destruction of me in Moel y Ci last Saturday. It should be noted that even in his own words his victory had more to do with his Studs than anything else such as natural ability or fitness. Then of course there is the matter of that artificial aid seen strapped to his Left Calf, in the interest of other Fell runners I have reluctantly referred this to the WFRA & will update you on his disqualification at the earliest opportunity. Not sure if this is wise bearing in mind he might hold my life in his hands when I’m dangling on a rope on the Jungfrau this July but as you can see I can be bitter in defeat!

Thanks again to Steve & Judy, Morzine here we come.
