The World Master & Mountain Running Championships have now left town but what a week it was. A big thank you to the 53 runners who took part in the Siabod Summit race on what turned out to be a wonderfully sunny afternoon, albeit very cold for the Marshalls on or near the summit so a special thank you must go to Georg & Simona for being at the summit to record the results as

So it’s arrived then, a week of running in & around Betws y Coed as the World Masters & World Mountain Running Championships have come to town. Steve Brace of Welsh Athletics, Eryri’s own Arwel Lewis & a large team have been working flat out to help ensure they are a storming success with the encouragement & support of Conwy Borough Council. Having met up with John, Mike & Fraser on Tuesday to review our Fund Raising I am delighted to announce that we have just passed the £6,000.00 mark which is really excellent news so thanks once again to everyone who got behind us & supported us so well.
