Well where to start on what has been yet another week that has flown by. Lets start by congratulating Stephen & Alan for their superb effort in completing their 6 in 6 Hero Challenge on Saturday. First things first, that Petzl Night Race the Saturday before last. It was the first running of this event in the Coed y Brenin & I was really glad that I belatedly entered just before heading off to Scotland, being on the doorstep to where I live just adds to the sense of being & enjoyment. No blog last week due to Dorina & I enjoying a wonderful 10 days in Scotland relatively midge free & good weather most of the time. The Indian Summer has arrived here in Snowdonia so lets make the most of it & get outside. Even if you are working like I was yesterday (in the very busy cafe) there is enough daylight left after 6:00 pm to get out & enjoy yourself as I did with my favorite short lap of Capel rounding off an excellent weekend. Open MIC Night – Saturday 26th Sept.
I have to confess being a Rugby nut that when I penciled in our next Open MIC Night for this Saturday I failed to consult the Rugby fixtures my excuse being at the time I thought I was probably going to be in Romania missing both the Open MIC & much of the rugby to boot, the things I’ll do for Dorina!
