A great day out circling the Ogwen Valley in a figure of 8 taking in 8 summits, 4 on the Carneddau & 4 on the Glyderrau. This year sees plenty of new categories to make it of interest to racers, walkers, solo's, pairs, teams, the list goes on. A great atmosphere all in aid of Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation. 4th year of it's resurrection , this is a race for good navigators if the clouds are down 17K with 880 metres of ascent. Entry on the day from 9:15 am.

Entry on the night only, includes refreshments but no safety pins. An easy introduction to the world of fell running on a route that circles Moel y Ci. Junior's race at 6:00 pm.

Not for the feint hearted or the intelligent so if you are either just turn up to watch the daredevils descend from Tryfan's summit to the A.5, the record is an amazing 8 minutes. Register in the car park at the race finish from 12:00 pm, entry £1 on the day with all monies going a little bit worryingly to Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue, you do not need much up top to understand why!

Short sharp fell race traditionally held during the August Bank Holiday. Great little race with the promise of a dip in the pool at the finish. Entry on the day, please park in the specially opened race car park field & not the Snowdonia National Park car park. 7.2K with 564 metres of ascent, the top section being a grade 1 scramble.  

Classic fell race over the northern hills of Snowdonia, 14.5K with 855 metres of ascent. Entry £7.00 on line at www.fabian4.co.uk. or £9.00 on the day. NB. Please do not park in the Pub car park.

Held the same day as the Nant Peris Festival, 8K with 853 metres of ascent, brutal early climb rewarding with a fine traverse before at times a technical descent. Entry on the day, registration opens at 12:30.

With entry including a train ride on the Ffestiniog Mountain Railway to the start point at Tanygrisiau runners then run on a variety of trails, forest tracks & a bit of tarmac back down to Porthmadog with a long finishing straight down the cob.
