Just in case there is anyone out there who is not aware Wednesday 18th September will see cycling’s Tour of Britain fly past Capel Curig at circa 3:15 p.m. I believe a rolling road block will be in place so if you want a great view point of the riders speeding down the straight aim to get to the Café before the road block, park up & secure a picnic table place with a cup of coffee to hand. Hopefully the weather will bless the riders who include Sir Bradley Wiggins & my personal cycling idol Mark Cavendish who is of course already one of the greatest sprinters of all time.

Sadly I will be missing the event but will want to hear all about it on my return from Italy.
