Just a quick reminder that this coming Saturday sees Mike put on his annual Xmas Quiz at the Cafe. Entry is £2 per team member with all proceeds going to Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation. Prizes as well as a Raffle too. Despite it clashing with a repeat of the Battle of Hastings in Qatar (of all places), we are expecting a good turnout so secure a good table (for the shout out rounds) we

Apologies for a belated thank you to those of you who turned out to cheer us on in the Snowdon Marathon the Saturday before last, it really was greatly appreciated by all of us ‘runners’, especially when some of us chose to walk for a bit!  As for myself I was really quite proud that I managed to subdue the red mist on the descent from Pen-y-Gwryd & onwards to Beddgelert whilst numerous runners tore

It’s six weeks now since the Consultant gave me the ‘O.K., go for a jog’ good news to lift my faltering spirits so here’s a quick update on my progress since then & yes, my thoughts really did begin to think about the Snowdon Marathon which was at that time six & a half weeks away. Week 1 – One run, 3 Miles, ankle tender but no negative aftereffects. Week 2 – Two runs, 11
