Open MIC Night – Open to anyone who wants to play, simply let us know your intentions when you arrive on the night or simply come along to listen to some great local musicians in a relaxed atmosphere. Extended Drinks License & Food available too! Thanks in advance to Nick & Michael for their input in pulling it all together, we are all looking forward to it.

Just a quick word of thanks to Ken for a very enjoyable & instructive evening at the Cafe the Saturday before last. I have subsequently read his book much of which he had managed to convey to his audience during the presentation, his recollections on the night were amazingly precise & clearly helped such a flowing delivery. It has certainly made me appreciate the enormity of the challenge he & Wayne took on & accomplished.

Well the final coat of paint has been applied, Photographs hung & I have to say I am very impressed by John’s, Nick’s & Marion’s initial selection for display. Seemingly we have blinked & January has almost passed us by but before it passes completely we have the excitement of opening their Gallery tonight during Ken Scott’s Presentation evening. Gaby, Dorina & I are delighted to have allocated a part of our former storage area

The good news is that we have now just reserved our 60th ticket for Ken’s presentation tomorrow night. The Bad news is that only gives us 10 more tickets until we are more or less fully booked so if you are thinking of coming please phone us to reserve tickets rather than simply turning up on the night, we want to avoid turning people away if at all possible. Just a quick note to say that ticker reservations are now up in the mid 40’s for this coming Saturday so if you want to be sure of a seat it’s advisable to contact us before the night itself. We plan for Ken to begin his presentation at around 8 pm so try to arrive between 7 & 7:30 at the latest to give yourselves time to devour Gaby’s Goulash before it gets underway. Thanks
