Just a few days away now so if you are able & willing to get involved here’s what is going on:-
Paul’s 6 routes up & down Snowdon start at Sunrise on Saturday morning as he sets off up the PyG track at 4:49 am. He will be on a live tracker & we will be updating his progress throughout the day on both Facebook & at the Cafe. As ever he will appreciate support runners on any of the legs.
Cafe opens at 8:00 am.
Twiggy’s Stall opens at 9:00 am, she will be selling a variety of Crafts, Books, Nepalese Artifacts, Doug Scott’s Photographic Prints & memorabilia from our former Moel Siabod Cafe in Capel Curig.
Gaby’s tasty Dal Bhat available from 12:00 pm whilst stocks last to give you a flavour of Nepal.
Our raffle will begin with tickets available from 8:00 am, first prize is a Photographic print of the Snowdon Horseshoe by John Rowell of the Soul of Snowdonia Gallery. Second prize is a copy of Paul’s Photographic Book of his Expedition to Gasherbrum II. There will be a number of lesser prizes on display at the Cafe. The prize draw will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday 28th July.
From 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm we will have our Burger Night available for those wishing to hang around & watch Paul’s progress as he hopefully completes his challenge with a target finish of 8:54 pm with an ultimate deadline of sunset (9:46 pm). Our drinks license also goes on until 8:00 pm.
We hope to see you at some point for a relaxed & friendly day in support of Community Action Nepal & their excellent work with this years proceeds going towards the re-siting of the Lihi Health Post.
