Firstly a quick reminder that we have our regular Open MIC Night this coming Saturday (29th Feb.), details are on our Events page.
Within the last week we have also put together initial plans for 3 more evening presentations so hot on the heels of the success of Jim Langley & Paul Gannon’s excellent presentation last Saturday here are some new dates for your diaries:-
2nd May 2020 – Mike Raine talks about his newly published 2nd addition of the ‘Nature of Snowdonia.
9th May 2020 – Julie Carter, Fell runner & author of ‘Running The Red Line’, talks about her book & experiences. We have been selling her book for almost two years now after Paul & Julie bumped into each other at the Moel y Gest fell race literally a few days after he’d read her fascinating book.
21st November 2020 – Doug Scott CBE returns to the Café to talk either about Kangchenjunga or give his ‘Three Peaks’ presentation. As ever in aid of his great charity Community Action Nepal.
As yet we don’t have enough details to list these fully on our Events page but will do shortly so for now if you are interested simply ring the dates in your diary & watch our Events page for more details in due course.
