Just a quick thank you required to those who have helped me in the lead up to organising this years race. Firstly Ross & Sheila for all the time, information & reminders that they have given me over several months. Cotswold Outdoor for Sponsoring the Event by providing a wide array of prizes & in particular to Emma for putting them together. Tomos for agreeing to help me mark up the course this evening. Susan for committing to helping out with the Time Keeping together with Team Dolly who are providing Radio Support. Georg for agreeing to Marshall at the summit, Dave, John & Gill for Marshalling the Junior Course, Michael, Bob & Tomos (again) for hopefully being back up Marshalls. Finally to the local farmers Tomos, Elwyn & Gwilem together with the Forestry Commission for allowing access over their land we will do everything we can to ensure the runners respect the course.
So with last minute running around left (it’s amazing how many things need to be considered) to do all that is left to say is the Weather is looking great so experienced or not come along & run this classic Fell Race & enjoy a dip in the river at the end followed by Gaby’s Goulash at the café (free).
