Playing on the Pinn – Film & Music Night

April 6, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

$8.00

A film, music & poetry night hosted by Rob Johnson (IML) of Filmuphigh & Rachel Bolton.

Sometimes having to face something as challenging as grief can trigger healing. After the sudden loss of her Mountaineering Musician Husband, Rachel Bolton decides to not only climb the Inaccessible Pinnacle but to play her fiddle to him on top. A moving film with an original score & plenty of breathtaking & dizzying footage of Skye’s Mountains.

In addition they will be accompanied by Ian Wilson (Musician) & Sian Tower (Poet) to make it a diverse & unique evening at the Siabod Cafe, a must for anyone who has used Mountains & or Music to help overcome their own grief.

All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards our Reach Out for Nepal campaign for the fitting out of the Melamchi School in Nepal which was devastated in the 2015 Earthquake in association with Doug Scott’s charity Community Action Nepal (CAN). NB. This is a change from our plan to donate proceeds to our Defib. campaign which has already reached it’s target.

Hot food will be available on the night until 7:00 pm. Drinks license until 10:30 pm. Film & Music estimated between 8:00 pm & 10:00 pm.
