We were delighted to see such a good turnout on Friday night for Fraser’s & Paul’s presentation. The evening was informal & relaxed & we hope all those attending found the presentation both interesting & infornative. It could not of course have happened without the expert & excellent support provided by John & Marion of ‘Chasing the Light’ who helped make such a visual impact on the senses whilst helping to keep a lid on Paul’s pre-start nerves! Also thanks to Stephen, Chris & Di from Cotswold outdoor for their support on the night as well. The genuine expressions of interest & thanks expressed to Paul & Fraser after the presentation were greatly appreciated & have spurred them onto taking the presentation forward to the internationally re-knowed Keswick Mountain Festival in May (the butterflies are already beginning to flutter again) as well as to KE Adventures team in March. Thanks to all those who attended & a final thanks to Gaby who’s Goulash & Desserts put the icing on the cake. In all a further £495.00 was raised in support of their chosen charity CLIK Sargent pushing the Grand total to date to just over £2,100.00. No rest for the wicked as on the next day Paul & Fraser were accompanied by Mark Rapton on a 15 mile hike over Moel Siabod & part of The Glyders in icy & cold conditions, great winter walking & great effort Mark!
